Fried Rice

 

Ingredients

rice, best to use day old cooked rice

butter

            low sodium soy sauce

            peas

            corn

            onion

            fresh garlic, minced

            2-3 eggs

 

Directions

  • If making fresh cooked rice, rinse uncooked rice until water is clear.
  • Add butter to wok or pan, brown.
  • Add soy sauce (better to start with small amount, add more if necessary).
  • Cook until rice is light, light brown.  
  • Cook peas, corn, onion, garlic in a separate pan. Cook till brown
  • Whisk 2 - 3 eggs. Add to vegetable mix and cook. 
  • Mix everything together and serve.
